Reproduction Of Original Includes All Bushings Needed To Mount Radiator Core Support To Frame Before 1965, full size Chevys used paper shims from the factory to isolate the core support from the frame. These paper shims, which were the standard till this time, typically wore out quickly leading to squeaks and noise from vibrations. In 1965, rubber core support bushings were introduced as the standard method to cure this common problem. Over the years, these bushing fatigued from gravity and environmental pressures bringing back those annoying squeaks and noise so common in the past. Replacement of these bushings can be done with minimal mechanical knowledge and basic tools in an afternoon. Our bushings are made from high quality, extra firm rubber with the proper steel insert. Our steel inserts are carefully cut to factory specifications which are critical to proper crush during torque application. All new washers and nuts are included to replace the old warped, rusted and stretched units. Late Great Chevy is proud to offer these all new core support bushing kits at an unbeatable price
