The original side glass on your classic Chevy is a laminated type of safety glass made by bonding two layers of glass together with a vinyl middle layer. After many years, the laminated glass can separate or become cloudy, detracting from your Chevy's appearance or even worse, obscuring your vision. Now you can save valuable restoration time and effort with already-framed side glass. Simply take out the old glass assemblies and install the new ones. This tempered side glass is precisely machine cut for a guaranteed fit and has polished edges to ensure a smooth, factory-finished look. It meets or exceeds Department of Transportation specifications for automotive use. For authenticity, the manufacturing date code is acid-etched into the glass. You must either supply your car's VIN or specify your preferred Libby Owens Ford (LOF) month & year date code in the website Comments section when you place the order.
