The first vehicle to be equipped with Goldline tires was the Chevrolet Corvette back in 1965. 50 years after they first hit the scene, you can still get authentic gold line tires from Coker Tire Company, except these are modern radials! They feature an asymmetrical tread pattern and an H speed rating. The raised 3/8-inch Goldline is built into the tire from day one, so it is less likely to crack or fade, and these tires are covered by Coker Tire Company's Life of the Tread warranty. American Classic tires are made in the U.S.A. and are DOT and ECE (European Community) approved. Please note that dimensions listed tread width, section width and overall diameter are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted on a wheel. Corvette Sting Ray buyers could choose from many options, including the tires. Blackwall, narrow whitewall and goldline tires were options during the 1965 and 1966 Corvette Sting Ray production years. Goldline may also be referred to as goldwall or gold stripe tires. These tires are available in authentic Firestone, BFGoodrich and Goodyear brands in the original 775-15 bias ply size, and we also produce a modern radial BFGoodrich 205/75R15 with a 3/8-inch gold line.
